Ken Stratman – SR VP

I have been involved in the home exterior industry for over 35 years, from helping initiate a start-up gutter business to working in distribution and then, for the last 25 years, with Custom Roofing. Here at Custom, I have worked in the customer service field, production management, general management and now as an officer in the company.

I am blessed with a wonderful loving family. We enjoy hiking, biking and just generally being able to spend time together. I also have a passion for golf, road biking, playing music and shooting clays.

Our team strives to deliver a quality experience for all our customers, both residential and commercial. We also work with associations and property management for all types of installations, repairs and inspections. We look forward to being able to assist you with your next project.

Rob Marshall – Lead Project Manager

I have been with Custom Roofing since we opened our doors in 1989; starting out as a roofing installer. I moved up through the company into management and am now part owner in the company.

I enjoy spending time with family along with fishing, hiking, or anything outdoors – which is probably what drew me to the roofing industry.

Custom Roofing is a great place to work and I really enjoy what I do. We pride ourselves on offering affordable, quality work and building trust through the process.

George Beinlich –Project Manager (ASM)

I was born and raised in Glencoe IL, but now reside in the NW suburbs. I enjoy golf, hunting and being outside working in our garden.

I started my roofing career when I was 16 yrs old. I joined the Custom Roofing team in 2019 and now moved up in the field with management.

With all my years of experience, I am very versed in the roofing trade and would like to help you with the task of getting your roofing project completed in a timely manner. 

Bill Heft –Project Manager

I have been in the roofing industry over 30 yrs. My specialty is in both residential and commercial. That’s a lifetime of weather, ladders, customers and craftsmanship.

I started in the business in my teens. After school and in the summer, I would shingle with my brother in a company he worked for. I learned a lot from actually doing the hard work and having hands on experience.

I later moved up into sales of materials for shingle roofing, metal roofs, flat roofing / EPDM roofing.

I am up for the job – “the more difficult the roof challenge, the better”!

Tim Huffar – Project Manager

I have over 35 years of experience in exterior construction. I earned the reputation for dependable craftsmanship and lasting results. My specialty is in siding, roofing, windows and doors bringing industry knowledge and hands on skill to every project. I pay attention to detail and with clear communication and commitment to do the job right the first time.

My goal for your project; look great and stand strong for years to come!

Rich Sicilian – Project Manager

My wife and I live in the NW suburbs. I am a born again Christian and a father of 7 children.

I have over 22 years of experience as a roofing installer of many types of roofing products, along with 32 yrs as a project manager.

I love meeting new customers and taking care of their needs.

Brenden Sheridan – Project Manager

I previously worked in the carpentry trade in both interior and exterior, but since 2007 I have been helping people update the exterior of their homes with roofing, siding, windows and gutters.

I am married and blessed with two children and a dog, while residing in the NW Suburbs. I enjoy cooking and I coach youth club soccer in my off hours.

I always enjoy seeing the happy reactions of the client to our finished project. 

Shane Schnaebele – Project Manager

I started with the company in 2015 and have gained experience in all aspects of the roofing trade. I also moved into managing the blueprint estimation department due to my attention to details.

I live in the NW suburbs with my wife and 3 children. I enjoy homesteading and family movie nights.

I look forward to helping you understand the process of the job from install to leaving your yard completely clean upon completion. My goal is providing you with a great experience in which I gain your referral.
