Our Process

Our Process

We like to provide a seamless experience for our customers. From the first meeting and estimate through the completion of your project, we work hard to make sure the job is done efficiently, with minimal disturbance to your everyday life, and as quickly as possible.

So you can rest at ease, here are a few things you can expect during the roofing process with Custom Roofing:

Trucks & Dumpsters: If we are removing your old roof, we’ll need to put a dumpster as close to your home as possible to minimize the debris that might fall into your yard. As we have supplies delivered, there will be trucks coming to your home as well. We work hard to keep your driveway open, and we try not to disrupt your neighbors too much. As a courtesy to them, you may want to let them know you’re having work done so they can be prepared for any inconvenience with our traffic, etc.

Noise & Vibration: Because we are using electric and pneumatic powered tools along with hand tools, you can expect some noise inside and outside of your home. In addition, some of our actions may cause vibrations to the interior walls and ceiling of your house. We do our best to keep this to a minimum, but sometimes it can not be avoided. If you’re concerned about any light fixtures or decor on the walls, we recommend you remove these items before we begin. Let us know if you need help removing any of these things.

Debris: As with any construction project, there will be debris (especially if we’re tearing off the existing roof). In addition to placing a dumpster at your home, we are sure to clean the area around your house and the end of each work day. While we will do our best to remove anything that falls into your yard, we recommend staying away from the immediate work area until we are completed, since we do a comprehensive clean-up before we leave the job for good. As one of the final phases in our clean-up, we use a rolling magnet on your yard, driveway, and walkways to pick up any overlooked or hidden staples, nails, etc. We also know that many homeowners have beautiful landscaping near their homes. We will do what we can to avoid these areas, but please be sure to point out to our installers if there are any specific areas we should be extra cautious near.

We strive to keep our customers happy, so we will work with you throughout the entire process to make sure your needs are being met. Please let us know if we can do anything to serve you better during the process.
